Pastor Steve Understands Your Daily Grind

Steve felt called as a teenager to pursue Bi-vocational ministry. Steve's mentor was Dr. Bryce Evans who pastored the church he attended and also served full time as the Chairman of the speach pathology department at a nearby major university. In like fashion, Steve has managed a career in engineering and management while simultaneously holding a variety of positions in the local church including, missions, teacher, deacon, evangelist, and youth pastor. Steve's educational pursuits have also followed both paths. His daily involvement in the marketplace keeps him grounded in reality and equips him to relate to those on the journey. Being blessed with a successful career as well as humble roots in a rural community allow him to relate to all walks of life. Steve also understands first hand what it means to experience the grace of God in spite of personal failures and he desires that others know that grace as well. Steve and his wife Vickie have been married for twenty-three years and both have a heart and passion for the city of Baltimore. Vickie is a highschool teacher at Digital Harbor High School in Federal Hill.
