2nd Friday Night Coffee House

Every second Friday night of the month, our praise band, and guests perform for all ages in a quaint candlelight environment with good coffee, good refreshments, and good fellowship. Come chill out and relax from the pressures of the week. Also, If you play or sing music with Christian lyrics, come prepared and we'll put you on.

There is a place for you at Canton Baptist Church

God has SHAPED each of us to minister in some unique capacity. Rick Warren defined the acronym or acrostic SHAPE which very clearly communicates how each of us is uniquely equipped for some ministry:

S - Each person has been given at least one Spiritual gift by God. We can help you determine yours if you don't know what it is.

H - God has also given each of us a passion or Heart for something. What is your passion? what makes your heart beat? What makes you tick?

A - Each of us have abilities. Some have a few and others have many. God has blessed us with the ability to do things. What are you good at?

P - Everyone has a different personality and some personalities are better suited for certain things than others. Your personality is part of who you are. Who are you?

E - Finally, our experiences, both good and bad, form us and give us our perspective. We can use our experiences and hurts to help others. Only someone who has gone through what you have been through can really help someone who is going through the same thing. What can you help someone else through? God never waists a hurt.

At Canton we want you to be free to use what God has graciously SHAPED you to be to minister to others.
